Highly recommend the Marie Claire article to anyone interested in MKA. No huge revelations, just some nice honesty. It was what it was. The idea that they were little business women making their own decisions at age 6 is just not realistic...and now MK gives us her own insight about it all.

Mary-Kate Olsen has opened up about her extraordinary childhood in the September issue of US Marie Claire, saying: 'I wouldn't wish my upbringing on anybody.'

One half of the world's most famous twin-set, Mary-Kate and sister Ashley grew up in front of the lens, after finding fame on kids TV show Full House.

'I look at old pictures of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all,' says the 24-year-old, describing her and her sister as 'little monkey performers.'

'But I wouldn't take it back for the world,' she adds.
